That's normal (unless that changes at level 10 ???)
You have to be in that emotion to paint emotional paintings
What quality are your paintings ? It's mostly quality that determines the price.

You used to be able paint all emotional paintings once you were level 10 and completed the whole painter aspiration. The paintings are excellent. She was still only getting like 75 - 200 for a large excellent painting. I stopped getting masterpieces as well as if I had no painting skill. I ended up just uninstalling completely. Going to try a new install. I'm thinking I may have broke it some how when I upgraded to Windows 10. Will keep updated.
So you have both the aspiration and the skill ? You only mentioned the skill in your first post.
Best is to try a new game to see if the issue persists although it might take a while to get it back up.
I've tried this in my own game now and I get all the paintings I should.
Seems something corrupted in your game.
