Re: [FIXED] [CL] Phone events (Opera, Circus, Concert etc.) not working correctly

I am having a constant issue with my Sims 4 City living game. I downloaded the game about a month ago and I am having problems with this rabbit hole events that pop up. 

I get a call/text from another sim asking if I would like to go to the circus/show/opera at a certain time. Lets use 8 as an example. I click yes! and then nothing happens. I assume that at 8 pm something will prompt me to leave and go to the event but again, nothing happens. This has been going on since I downloaded the game, and it is becoming very annoying. I have called EA and we did a repair on the game but it didn't help. I also made sure that my game was updated and it is. 

If someone could please provide feedback or tell me how to fix this issue that would be great. I don't want this game to be a waste of money and frustration.
