What did you pre-order through? The companion app is free to use for anyone but it will stop you using it after a certain period of time if you haven't played the game.
I imagine you have pre-ordered the physical game.

Thank you for the response, yes I believe that I have ordered the game. I am a total technophobe! I know now it doesnt work on IPAD.
I am trying to get a refund.
