Re: [FIXED] Negative Sentiment Applied Without Reason

I see this on PS4/PS5. My toddlers keep getting festering grudges towards their parents. Realistic? Sure. Toddlers can be something sometimes for real. They also have very short attention spans and forget stuff quickly.

Edit: 01/03/2021 So this also happens to married  couples. I had a sim gift her husband a flower for love day, which he rejected. She got the sad moodlet, but the husband got the "hurt" sentiment. Hurt and wronged because he rejected her gift. So bizzare.

@PoptartJuniper Thanks for sharing!  What a cute baby!  Also, I like your Sulani house and the way you set up her room.  I won't lie, I'll probably steal your ideas for my game. :-)

I absolutely agree with you that toddlers can be a handful.  The defiantly angry "you can't tell me what to do" moodlets are cute, albeit sometimes annoyingly so.  However, those angry moodlets last one sim hour at most.  I see Etta has a "simmering rage" moodlet stemming from that "festering grudge" which I don't agree is realistic.  Those sentiments last for days and as you said, toddlers forget quickly.  My preference would be to remove those long term sentiments from toddlers or at least adjust the timers for toddler sentiments to go away relatively quickly.

The toddler sentiments aside, though, there are other sentiments that can be quite annoying as well.  I've read a number of posts from other simmers asking for the option to turn off sentiments altogether.  We have the option to turn off other things, such as the effects from Seasons.  There should be options for sentiments as well.
