I’ve been experiencing the same thing since yesterday. Luckily I had an auto save as well, so I was able to return to the game for quiet a bit, even though it was a little bit back in the progress.
After a few hours it started lagging crazy.
It happened when I started maxing out skills.
I can’t even play with a new family now.
Will try to figure out, but my best guess is that I needs a patch.
- @graciouslygaming This has been happening to me since yesterday. I'm not sure in EA is going through an update or something but it needs to be fixed.

It took me 24 hrs to build a huge house and just when I finished the furnishing this * happened. Was traveling to the magical world and then POOF error code. I really don't want to loose that house ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
I’ve just gone onto my sims and all my houses and played houses have disappeared!! Luckily I saved most of them but I’m so confused on what’s happening😫it’s deleted the played houses that I haven’t been able to play the last couple of days.
- @ikkimikki Just don’t mess with the save file it’s in. If the update comes out soon, chances are it’ll save the file.

Hi! I've been following this thread in hopes for some answers, and I've been patiently waiting for a patch to fix it (been experiencing it for over a week now) and today I thought I'd play a new family and add sims that already existed in my library, but they're not there! none of my sims or builds, which is so upsetting because i had a legacy of over 30 generations and I took the time to fix many of the lots. Has anyone else's library's done this? I'll be absolutely heartbroken if I've lost everything ☹️

@LeelaBabe The households do but not my builds. i checked the ‘include custom content’ section but it seems i’ve lost everything. unless i accidentally deleted them while trying to resolve the issue myself, but i still have the save files so it doesn’t make sense.
- @LeelaBabe Noo I don’t use any CC, I shut it off completely and when I went back on they were all there again but unplayable with the error code mentioned in the thread, Sims is really having a meltdown down lol
@JuanitaRivas2810 I think even with households you have to use the advanced search and click CC enabled. Then you should be able to find them.
- @tatumkemp13 It must have something to do with the error code missing families and lots. A lot of people have reported it.
Same here wasn't far off finishing my 10 generation legacy 😭 and also just baught a bundle and now I can't play, so annoying I got with drawels already and it's only been a day, please EA fix the problem keep us updated.
Even more annoying if the bug is on from two weeks in my game and I can't use it...
Why warranty can't handle that, if I want my money back for something what isn't working sooo long...?
I'm pissed 😠- @961129291196 yea this thread was created 3 weeks ago, thats how long this issue has been going on. And in the last week the me too climbed up atleast a hundred people. And still EA hasnt put out a public statement.
@chantelwaggxx don't delete your save file, hopefully if they do eventually end up giving us a patch for the error. It might make the save file work again.
