Skimming through this thread, these have been 2 separate problems for me. Having the power turn off on Tuesday instead of Wednesday has been an issue for me since the summer, maybe earlier (it feels like forever). The squirrel problem just happened to me for the first time ever. I'm gonna fill out the bug form twice, since they seem like separate issues for me and my answers are different.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: Play any household. When you receive the bills on Monday, don't pay them until after Tuesday (they're allegedly due Wednesday). Power turns off on Tuesday instead of Wednesday.
What happens when the bug occurs? On Monday morning when bills are delivered, don't pay it right away (bills are due on Wednesday). Tuesday morning, there's the orange notification that bills are due in 24 hours (Wednesday) or the power will be shut off. The power turns off on Tuesday morning at the same time the 24 hour notice notification is sent. If I still don't pay the bills, on Wednesday I get another orange notification that the power is being turned off (which is correct), but the power was already turned off the day before. Basically the notifications don't match the actual game. When I pay the bills, the power immediately turns back on.
What do you expect to see? The notifications all say the bills are due by Wednesday or the power will be turned off. There's a 24 hour warning on Tuesday. This should match the actual gameplay, but the power gets turned off on Tuesday instead of Wednesday.

Steps: I don't know what triggered this. But I had a popup from the Landgraab Power Company (image below) and I clicked "prepared?" and my power was turned off.
What happens when the bug occurs? I clicked "Prepared?" and my power was turned off. It's been days and the power still hasn't turned back on. I tried solar panels and a power generator, but they didn't help. I moved my family into an empty lot, then moved them back into the original house and the power was back on. But one of my Sims is in the Scientist career, so I traveled with her to work, and when I went back to the house the power was off again.
What do you expect to see? A way to turn my power back on.

Some extra info on this household/lot where this happened. I'm playing on Chateau Frise, lot traits are cat hangout, dog hangout, and fast internet. NAPs are Fun Loving Community, Rock Your Body (and mind), Self Sufficiency, and Eco-Friendly Appliances. I have 5 household members, 1 male young adult, 1 female young adult, 1 infant, 1 cat, and 1 dog. The dad is in the Tech Guru career, the mom is in the scientist career, and they own a pet clinic (Brindleton Pawspital).
*ETA* I reopened the game, and their power was on. I followed my Sim to work (scientist career) and when she went back home, the power was off again. I installed 8 roof solar panels, 3 roof wind turbines, 6 of the water catching things, and started up 4 power generators and the power still does not work.
