Re: [FIXED] Invisible frogs/tanks and fish/mice/ducks/crocs et al. (Laptop Mode)

I noticed yesterday that my sim's frogs' tank was completely gone and all you could see was the eyes of the frog, I was trying to build an aquarium wall today and the fish were also invisible, they were in the fish tank's inventory but they weren't visible, I tried turning the light on and off, taking the fish out and buying new ones, buying a new fish tank but nothing worked. I do play with mods so it is a possibility it could be an issue with them but I don't know what could be interfering with them, the only thing I haven't tried is repairing the game which I'm doing now and will update if that fixes it otherwise I am completely stumped.

    @DrDeadworth It's a laptop mode issue. If your machine can handle it, turn laptop mode of, otherwise you need to wait until EA fixes this.
  • That fixed the problem. Thanks heaps Crin and everyone else for your help.  Btw I also noticed that when I switched off Laptop mode the Graphics were mindblowing! I always wondered why I never had light streaming into my house and shadows like other people had and now I know why. 

  • In my case, the problem is the even when I'm not in laptop mode. I also tried differents settings, but it change nothing...

  • Is this why there are groups of chicken legs with no chickens running around in various places as well?  This is definitely a bug that needs fixing.  Aquariums are super for decor.  How dumb is it for my Sim to stand looking at what appears to be an empty tank...

  • I’m still having this issue, is EA aware of the bug/possibly working on fixing it? At least that you may know of? I’m new to the forums and unsure how much EA actually sees on the forums 

  • Since it's been going on over a year... me thinks they just aren't paying attention or don't care. Still a problem for myself as well.
