Sims 4 installation

I bought the Sims 4 today and at half 12 i tried to install it. It is now after 7pm and I have made no progress. This is not acceptable, I have had problem after problem with this installation process, starting with problems with Origin, and now it won't copy from Origin. What is the point in spending 60 euro buying a disk if you need to use an online sourse to install this game. I have been waiting on the disc to 'copy' for at least 4 hours whilst trying different methods each time. If this problem is not resolved I will be demanding my money back. This is a disgrace. It is no wonder that people now torrent computer games. You get no where from being honest and actaully purchasing the game.
