Game UI textures going absolutely crazy.

I started a new save file yesterday and everything was going as intended, I made a sim, moved to Oasis Springs, built a house and logged off. I logged back on this morning to actually play the save file and play for a few minutes. In that time I got a job as a athlete and went jogging. At this point I noticed a few visual bugs like random quick smears on my screen which I dismissed as it didn't seem that bad. Well, it all changed when I traveled to Johnny Zest's house. Immediately the visual bugs started appearing more frequently. A few moments later the game was unplayable especially when paused, the shade that shows up in the pause menu would distort and disappear, a random red blob that I assume is being pulled from the border when you pause would flash on my screen, and much more. Keep in mind this did not happen yesterday. I removed my mods and disabled them in game but the glitch was still present. Even after multiple resets the textures seemed to be going bananas. After the third reset where I changed the game resolution and completely disabled mods the glitch was literally appearing on the loading screen but it seemed to die down after the game fully loaded. However when a pop up is loaded or sim changes emotion the glitch returns.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

    • Press Windows-Key + R
    • Type: DxDiag
    • Click on Save all Information.
    • Attach the Text File to your post
  • 895489045890  Your dxdiag crashed while running, which could be a fluke, but it's a good idea to run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files.  Here's how:

    • Click Windows key-X
    • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
    • Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
    • The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
    • After it reaches 100%, click Windows key-X again
    • Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
    • Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
    • Post the message you receive here

Restart your computer, open Windows Settings > Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates.  If any install, restart again afterwards.

For the issue itself, does it help to run your monitor in its native mode of 1280x720?  I realize that's a pretty low resolution, but it's useful to try for testing purposes.

And have you enabled vertical sync or set an fps limit either in-game or in your Adrenalin (graphics driver software) app?  If not, please try the in-game option: in fullscreen mode, you can enable v-sync with the other graphics options.  If you're already using that, disable it and set an fps limit for TS4_x64.exe in Adrenalin.  If you've done the reverse, switch to only the in-game option, and try none as well.  These tools are great but occasionally introduce some flicker or other oddities.

Finally, in your video, I see some intermittent flickering on the menu and on the UI elements across the top of the screen.  Is that all you're seeing, or is there more that the video didn't capture?  I'm not trying to downplay it, just make sure I'm accounting for everything.
