Not really sure what you are saying as I might be misunderstanding your post.
Ea has never said the plus or minus it searches just that it tries to match you by your form and location.
In the past they have said it’s possible to play people not on your exact form. I am not sure if this is what you are saying is it’s not done by your exact form but it’s not supposed to.
thanks for answer! You understood well, but my problem isnt, that oponent havent exactly same form/score like I, EA talking about a similar Form/Score. What is similar form/score? It is diference 1 or 2 maybe 3?
For example, now I played with really good player and his score was +10 (14 wins and 4 losses) and my form/score was ZERO, because it was my first match. It isnt similar form/score! It is disrespectful for me and my time!
EA find for me oponents during 2 second and I must play 15 minute game, whitch is unbalanced and unfair. Why I cant waiting for better and fair options? I live in middle of Europe (Prague), close to 3 EA data center (Warsaw, Frankfurt and Zurich), play on PS5 and I have open every options for other players (platform and location).
They never said the plus or minus it will go. If you google a conversation between Joel doonan and nephenthez I know it was Joel who is a dev though. I can’t remember if it was nep though but Joel was the important person that matters.
He said rage quits count for plus and minus as at that time people thought if you quit your form wouldn’t change.
But the part that answers your question he said on 12-12 it’s possible to play someone who is 12-6 and also someone who is 11-5. So you know it searches at least that wide of a range. It was in the older fifas so how wide it searches today I don’t think they said. I assume it’s still not exact form though.
I found it, its 5 years back and weekend league was 30 matches or something.

1.Your location. This determines which EA SPORTS FC™ Game Data Center will be used for your match.
2.Your current Form in Play-Offs or Finals. You’ll be matched with players that have a similar Form. (diference betwen +10 and zero isnt similar)
3.Your Form is zero when starting Play-Offs or Finals.
Your platform when cross-play is enabled.
Large majority players play for result 9/11 (-2) or 11/9 (+2) and diference 4 would be reasonable...
