[GRO] Slumber party is a disaster

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.397.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Almost all including Growing Together
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have a slumber party
What happens when the bug occurs? sims are extremely laggy objectives cant be fulfilled, because not all participating sims are counted (dancing, eating)
What do you expect to see? A good functioning slumber party
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I had my parent sim schedule a slumber party for my child sim and her friends.

However, when the party started, all sims on the lot became extremely laggy. They did nothing from their queue, except the thing that they were doing. Pausing the game for a short moment helped to get all the sims on the lot to their next activity where they became stuck again. So i had to pause and play every 3 seconds.

Secondly, I could not complete all objectives because not all participating sims were counted. For example, 3 sims had to be dancing, over 3 were dancing, but only 1 one was counted in the panel.

After the slumber party was over, all invited children left the lot without problems.

The slumber party was a disaster.

  • @HeddelvivenFirst I thought I had the same problems (except the lag), but indeed the party works correctly. When you try to fulfil the goals (eating, talking) only the host and the invited guests count. The confusing thing is that when you throw a slumber party for children, the parents have to invite the guests, but they don't count unless they invite themselves into one of the roles.

PS: To fulfil the dancing goal, I had to take a table radio. My wallspeaker didn't work.

  • Im having similar issues where sleeping bags are set up but I can't tell the guests to go to sleep

@morGGan_ckThere’s a “time to go to sleep” action on whichever kid you set as host, which will make everyone go to bed.

  • I've found that it goes better when you don't queue two 'tell story from sleeping bag' actions
