@PositivelySIMful Update: I had the mom accept to see what would happen. Even though they didn't know each other they were listed as boyfriend/girlfriend in their profiles. But the boy was bitter because he happened to come up and ask when the mom was in the middle of kissing another adult. I had to have the mom introduce herself and break up with the teen. Now they have no friendship bar and the romance bar between them is completely red, and the teen is completely depressed lol.
