Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Wait for someone to smash the dollhouse or have one of your own sims smash it. Have an young adult, adult or elder repair it
What happens when the bug occurs? Adult sim gains responsibility
What do you expect to see? No gaining of any character values by adult sims
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Young adult, adult or elder sims gain responsibility from repairing the dollhouse.

Even when these sims have never aged up from teenagers (because then gaining character values seems to occur more often but I will make a separate bug report for that).

Adult sims should never gain any character values.
