[V] Forever Full and Hardly Hungry can be bought but not used by Vampires

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Many, but the one that is relevant here is Vampires
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Create a Vampire Sim 2. Get either 4,000 or 10,000 satisfaction points 3. Buy either the Hardly Hungry or Forever Full traits from the reward store 4. The Vampire now has those traits
What happens when the bug occurs? The Vampire will have the traits, but the traits will have no effect since Vampires have a Thirst need, which as far as I can tell isn't the same as hunger.
What do you expect to see? Either for the traits to work on the Vampire but affect the Thirst need instead of the Hunger need (similar to how the Antiseptic and Forever Fresh traits, which are normally associated with Hygiene, work on Mermaids, but instead effect the equivalent Hydration need), or for the traits to be greyed out and not available to Vampires.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I was considering making a Vampire Super Sim, and I wanted to remove the Thirst need with the Forever Full, I assumed it would work since Forever Fresh works with Mermaids, but further research proved that it doesn't, but yet the traits are still available to Vampires.

Edit by OP: Also worth noting that the Hardly Hungry lifetime reward in The Sims 3 affected both the Hunger and Thirst needs
