I am having this issue: where entering a 64x64 lot crashes my game. The two 64x64 lots on Windenburg I couldn't enter, whereas for other 64x64 lots I could enter build mode but would crash upon exiting. I am not sure if this is connected to the bugs identified after For Rent.
@DJGeoRob this has happened to many players over the years unfortunately with 64x64 lots. It used to happen to me too.
There's an open bug report here that has some mentions of 64x64 lots here if you want to take a look and see if it looks like your issue:
If you are on Console. I have a standard set of things I do to avoid crashing on Xbox Series X with all content except for Vampires. I keep my library mostly empty, I clear all my previous households inventories and I keep my household numbers well under the limit by moving some to Other Households. I keep OH under 100 households if possible, which takes regular management. Even with a powerful Console with loads of free memory space and processing power it's still necessary unfortunately.
This works for me and has been recommended to me over the years by experts here and by Microsoft. It's become my set of rules to help my game run smoothly. My 64x64 lots were badly affected on previous consoles.

@simsplayer818 Hey thanks for your reply. I checked the Bug Report and it's similar but different at the same time. Apparently, the thread there points out something to do with furniture but one of the 64x64 lots is the empty lot on Chestnut Ridge. Even the Myshuno Meadows park in San Myshuno, which is largely untouched, cannot be accessed.
I play on PC. I do have a huge save file with 400+ Sims being played (all making one entire universe for storytelling purposes) but before I downloaded For Rent I could access the 64x64 lots. But now since I cannot access them I had to move my household from the 64x64 in Windenburg Island to a different lot. I've also swapped some of my 64x64 households to NPCs just to "maintain" my story.
I think my issue and the one you shared are different but connected though.

@DJGeoRob I checked your save game
I'm getting a items removed message on every lot I load which is odd since you said you didn't touch Chestnut Ridge 64x64.
Other than that, they load fine for me. I see none of the symptoms from the other issue. Tested Chestnut Ridge, Willow Creek and City Living. Will try Windenburg.
Since your save is huge though, how much RAM do you have ?
EDIT: Yeah, the windenburg lots crash.
EDIT EDIT: I believe it is the same issue. If I move the family in the windenburg lot out with all the furniture, the lot becomes fine. Unfortunately you can't even bulldoze the lot without it crashing so it's a bit hard to troubleshoot further.
Oh that's weird, I only entered Chestnut Ridge when I was checking all 64x64 lots.
I just upgraded my RAM to 16GB before Christmas. But even on 8GB RAM i could play on 64x64 lots just fine. Got For Rent just after New Year's. 😁

So, I loaded the Windenburg Isle lot and, true enough it crashed.
I tried the Chestnut Ridge through build mode and suddenly it worked fine.
I tried the 64x64 on Brindleton Bay and I was able to get in but took me forever to get out that I had to force-restart the game. Same happened with the one in Del Sol Valley (where I moved Judith Ward to). I was just surprised to not find any Crash report after these two, maybe because of the force-restart?
Anyways I sent to you the link to the Crash Report on Windenburg.
@DJGeoRob Thanks. I'll do some more testing on your save game with the Brindelton Bay and Del Sol Valley lots.
I was mainly concerned for the CR and CL lots that you didn't change and wanted to compare the crash reports but if those work fine now, it might have been just connected to the other crashes.

No no no problem at all! I haven't been playing that much recently cos life has been getting in the way... I did login today and tried again but still got the same issue (Windenburg Isle lot)
