Re: LE when giving birth/No baby

Hi,

It's a brand new game and a brand new household I started a few days ago (I have many other games/saves) and it was initially a wife/husband couple.

She became pregnant naturally, but then he tried cooking and accidentally died in a fire 😒

I've just tried again and the baby still doesn't appear in the household, my Sim is still alone after the birth, and the crib is empty and unclickable, BUT I can see one of the triplets and his dead father in the family tree.

So, he has some kind of existence. It is indeed created, but not as playable character in my household, just... some baby in my family tree.

About the "birthday message", it does appear the second after the birth, which is a little suspect.

Maybe I should just wait for a future patch before playing with this household again. I haven't played with it for hours, so I'm not invested in the story lol

I would just add, even if I don't believe it's even remotely related, that I also have a problem in this household with the Juice Fizzer that refuses do anything else than "Clean". It used to work fine and then, all of a sudden, it stopped working around the same time she became pregnant I think.

No, not while the birth occured. I did nothing special, just wait for the baby to arrive.

I moved her out of the previous house they had with her husband, but it was during the second semester of her pregnancy.

I'm currently trying a new game to see if it happens again.

Hi,

I played with new Sims and everything is fine.

They had their baby normally, no bug whatsoever. I'm happy it's not a general bug but more like an isolated issue.

I will delete the problematic game.
