Long Lived elder sims won't die from overexertion

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.107.112.1030 DX9
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs All game packs except Journey to Batuu and Strangerville All stuff packs except Home Chef hustle, Fitness, Bowling Night, Movie Hangout, Spooky, Cool Kitchen, and Luxury Party The kits I have are Simtimates Collection, Everyday Clutter, Pastel Pop, Desert Luxe, and Blooming Rooms
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have sim that has completed the "Bodybuilder" aspiration/has the "Long Lived" trait and have them become overexerted. Don't let them rest until the overexerted moodlet.
What happens when the bug occurs? When the sim that has completed the "Bodybuilder" aspiration/has the "Long Lived" trait becomes overexerted, doesn't rest, and the moodlet reaches 0 minutes left, the moodlet just disappears without them dying. Two of my sims have this trait, and I have tested it with both of them. I have had them become overexerted and continue doing activities like kicking/juggling a soccer ball or working on the treehouse with the overexerted moodlet, and it just disappears when the time runs out rather than them dying. I'm not sure if it is limited to sims with the long-lived trait, as I haven't tested it on a normal elder sim.
What do you expect to see? I expect the elder sims with the overexerted moodlet that don't rest to die when the time on the moodlet runs out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I haven't been able to find others with this specific issue.

  • I am unable to reply to my previous post "long lived elder sims won't die from overexertion" for some reason (the only option I have is to give XP or "accept as solution"), but @crinrict I have started a new save with NO mods installed, and the issue is still occurring. I had 2 elder sims not die from overexertion. 1 had the "long lived" trait and the other did not, but neither sim died when the "dangerously tired" moodlet timed out.
