Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create rooms connected via Ladder, have Spellcaster with Familiar summoned (Buns the black bunny with red eyes was the familiar). Tell Sim to move from one room to the next via the ladder. Climb up a ladder as well. What happens when the bug occurs? Sim will climb down ladder first but familiar will circle ladder for several in game minutes, Sim will ignore additional commands until the Familiar teleports to the Sim and they move. Climb up the ladder and the Sim waits at the top while the Familiar slowly inches its way up the ladder like its climbing it.What do you expect to see? Sim with familiar to climb down the ladder while the Familiar floats along with them and not have to wait for Familiar or familiar getting stuck. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, have tried with mods disabled and mods folder entirely removed and game repaired.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I noticed it after the Lovestruck patch was installed. I do not recall if bug existed prior.Since the recent update, I have a haunted house with a vampire, a werewolf, and a spellcaster. If the Spellcaster has her familiar out, she will climb down the ladder and then pause. The familiar will circle the ladder before also climbing down. So the sim will often pause for 5-15 seconds in game while they wait for their familiar. One time the familiar circled the top part of the ladder and continued for a minute til I reset the Sim. When the familiar does finally move up or down, it feels like its trying to do the sims animation of climbing up or down, roughly the same speed too.I do use mods but haven't tried without Mods active yet.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDmDexui6i4Edit By Crinrict:&nbsp;Added Tag to Title, moved to bugs.

@JWWeise  Could you please test without mods/ccI take it this wasn't happening before or did you just not have ladders ?

Just tried it without Mods loaded (mod folders still placed but option for custom content shut off). Sent the spellcaster up and down the ladders. From ground floor to basement level 1, Sim paused at base of ladder while familiar (buns) spun in circles before teleporting to my Sim. Didn't have any issue going down 2nd ladder to basement level 2. Told Sim to climb to surface, same issue with first ladder but 2nd worked. Told Sim to climb down 1 ladder, delay occurred again. And when told to climb to basement 2, occurred once more.

Prior to updating from Pre-Love expansion (waited a good solid month + before updating due to issues), this wasn't happened that I recall. My spellcaster does tend to keep her familiar out but I never remember there being a huge delay back then.

@JWWeise  Could you move the mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache file and do a game repair then try again ?

Sorry for delay, haven't had time to play. So moved Mods folder to desktop, deleted Localthumb, and repaired and played without a mod folder. Still same issue. Spellcaster climbs down the ladder first (Again with Buns the familiar, don't have any others atm). Buns circles the ladder opening for 15 in game minutes or more before teleporting to Sims side. Climbing up the ladder, the Sim reachs the top and stops, but this time Buns will slowly move up the ladder as if it was physically climbing it before allowing the Sim to move or take other actions.
