Re: Sims enter lot to drink water (Patch 1.110.265)

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All packs, most kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim live in Caldera Camp in Mua Pe'lam in Sulani. Wait not more than 2 game days.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims (mostly the conservationists) will walk into Caldera Camp and get a drink of water and leave the unwashed glass on the floor.
What do you expect to see? Sims not showing up at random and getting a drink from a private residence.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

As far as I know this only affects Caldera Camp, not the other lots in Mua Pe'lam (which are by default off the grid) or any other lot in Sulani or other worlds, but it is a bug of long standing, and was not fixed in the recent patch. They will take drinks from both the kitchen and bathroom sinks regardless of sink settings, and if you move the detached bathroom so it is attached to the main house and access is through the main house, they will walk through the main house to reach the bathroom sink.

I have had this same issue at Caldera Camp for a long time. It would be nice if it was fixed!

@crinrict I haven't noticed it in other lots/worlds, but Every. Single. Time. I play in Caldera Camp, it happens frequently.

@crinrict I don't recognize that lot; but then I most often play in Palomino Junction (? The one in the north by Don Gooseman and the rental) or the empty lot. I don't recall home invasions for water at either of those is it lot specific in Chestnut Ridge like it is in Sulani?

I can't state whether the invasions were a problem at Caldera Camp from the release of Island Living as I didn't have the game let alone that pack prior to my son gifting me Sims 4+Cottage Living, but I know it long preceded the release of Horse Ranch. Caldera Camp is one of my favorite starts.

@richvh I've seen it in many other lots before the patch. I haven't played other lots the the one in Chestnut ridge since the patch though as I was mostly busy with Early Access. Also seen it happening in Ravenwood.

Just don't think it ever was related to any specific lot (there's an old archived thread too).

Invasions are really really hard to keep apart and yes, Sulani is more prone for it to happen cause of how more neighborly they are

There's a lot of causes and water drinking is just one of them.

Hi I was experiencing the same problem with Caldera Camp except on my save nobody lives there, it's an empty lot.

My sim kept getting the get water prompt when I was near the lot, and when she headed there an random NPC was leaving the house but he phased through the closed front door and when I clicked on the lot it says no-one lives there move in household. So weirdly its happening even when that lot is unoccupied.
