After he goes into the pond wait a few secs. hit go to world management. look through your inactive sim list. you will find your sim there with it's household name as an infant. from there you should move it into another household. if you choose to simply add a sim to the infants house hold it will load in and crash. so is best to move it into an npc household and turn it active. Don't know how well the rest will work for it but thats the only way I can do it right now.
