Custom Content Sims 4 Cats and Dogs

I had to disable mods in order for Cats and Dogs to work, but apparently, the update would've had that happen anyway. I want to know how to use custom content with this game. With mods enabled, my game loads, but I am unable to click, the bottom bar with the time, sims needs, etc doesn't show, and I can't click on build mode. Is it just particular CC? I mostly have hairstyles, clothes, makeup, and a bathroom set. Please help! My sims without all that custom content makes me upset. Lol. Also, the cheat where you can adjust a sims' needs by simply clicking on the needs bar doesn't work anymore, for me. Thank you.

    Sounds like incompatible CC to me. Alot of the CC broke with the Cats & Dogs update, and not just script mods. You'll have to do the Mods halving method to figure out which CC is making your UI non-functional. I would start with your script mods, since that sounds like something caused by an incompatible script mod. Check all of your CC & mods for updates by the creators, too.
