Re: Sims 4 lagging

There's a couple different types of lag with Sims 4 - there's lagging of the game engine itself, which is where your actual graphics slow down or stutter, and then there's a type of lag where a sim will just kind of stand there and do nothing, not responding to commands or interacting with anything. (I've read it's often referred to as 'head bobbing'.) Which of these are you experiencing?

Also, did you have this issue before you purchased the expansion pack? If the game was fine before then, this may require a clearing of the game cache and other repair type actions.

http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/help/cache.php will show you how to clear the cache. Make sure to back up your save files before you do this, just in case. This shouldn't do anything to your saves, but better safe than sorry!
