Re: Sims 4 Crazy Wall Mural Glitch (?!)

Update: I tried to save and upload my Sims' home in order to move it to another lot, and the mural is in it! I see no way to delete it though. ☹️

    @KiaForever

Can you upload it to the public gallery so that someone can try and download the house?
(I can try but I don't have spooky stuff so maybe someone with all your packs can help too) 🙂

Yes absolutely! I just uploaded it. And that's alright, nothing in the home is part of the Spooky Stuff pack - Halloween is over now 😃

Your lot is marked as having custom content. Looks fine for me.

Might be a cc issue here

Could you remove all custom content and try without ?

Like Crin said, works fine for me too!

Often after a patch there are mods that stop working, always make sure to update your mods when you update your game. If the house works after removing the mods, check this list out for some mods that were broken in the latest patch 🙂

Or put them back a few at a time too see which ones cause problems.

Thank you both so much! I'll try to remove some cc now to see if that will change anything.

Update: I removed all CC and mods, the dreaded blue mural still appears! I even tried to repair the game. :/ I've attached a few photos to show how far it goes.

Which lot of Newcrest? World screenshot?

If I visit the lot in my game and can see it, then this is a bug.

    Anyway... temporary solution.

    Download latest MCCC.

Enable "testingcheat" option and "debug" option turn on. Restart the game.

Then, load your household in live mode.

Press [Shift] key and LEFT click of the mouse on the blue wall.

This will show "Destory Object (debug)" option. Click it, and the wall should go away.

Save your lot to the gallery, and place it on your lot again. HTH

    Hi @KiaForever

Moved this to the tech forum for better troubleshoot for now.

Could you upload your non-cc version ?

Does it happen in every neighborhood on every lot (you don't have to test all  lots but try to test all neighborhoods) ?

Alright, so I enabled the testingcheats option and debug, nothing changed. Maybe I did the debug function wrong, is it 'debug on'?

Here is a screenshot of the map and what pops up when I shift + right click on the blue wall. I did not see a destory object function.

Hi Crin, no this doesn't occur on every Newcrest lot, just this one particular lot. However, you cannot see the huge mural from the map view - which further puzzles me.

MIght have tried the wrong lot though since you say it's not every one.

    I'll check again

EDIT: Nope, still doesn't show but maybe it's the house behind or just your general setup.

If you place the house in a new save game without any of the other houses, does it also occur ?
