@jpkarlsen Sorry, I can't. My laptop have had overheat problems when playing games since I bought it, so I don't think it's because there's dust. As I said, this issue doesn't happen to me with the Sims 3 and I can play them well with power saver mode.
As you might know, the Sims 3 has a worse performance than the Sims 4. I've played both of them in my older computer and the Sims 4 was much smoother!
If there's no way to disable this, I will only play the Sims 3 then...

A cooling pad doesn't cost much. The Sims 3 was not as graphics intensive as the Sims 4 is. You can try lowering graphics to Low and see if that helps.
