Re: Sims 4 eco lifestyle completely broke my game (i have never had mods or cc)

@xXHOLYSHIZZLEXx He's not reading any posts, never does, just posting a stock message. However, despite the... disinterested and impersonal response, the advice is sound. Even if it doesn't apply at all to your issue.

I would go ahead and delete the cache files. It has been known to (temporarily) fix problems.

If that doesn't work better, try a whole new save. Does the problem still occur there?

@Psychotps The only thing that worked was making a whole new save in a whole new world. Thankfully, I was not too far along in my new game. Hopefully these bugs get patched. Thanks for your help, stay safe out there!!!

@xXHOLYSHIZZLEXx If that worked then something likely went bad in that save. It doesn't happen too often but I've seen it. It seems to happen more often the longer you play the same save. Some saves I've played long-term went bad and a lot of weird things started happening.

Try removing the cache files first though. It's a simple thing to do and can fix quite a few things, plus it doesn't hurt the game at all. It simply forces the game to re-load a bunch of stuff.

@Psychotps  It was a brand new game, and only went bad when I downloaded eco lifestyle. But if it ever happens again with any of my older saves I'll keep your suggestion in mind. Thanks again!

@xXHOLYSHIZZLEXx If you think ECO might be corrupting your older saves, then until you test them, make sure to do a Save-As. That way your older saves remain untouched until you can see if they end up breaking again.
