Re: what's a good graphic card for sims 4 and processor that is good for sims 4
@unicorn_vdb26 Other specs that you didn't list can matter too, for example how much storage each model has if you plan on installing other games or storing large amounts of data on the laptop. Memory matters too, but I'm guessing all of these models come with 8 GB RAM, which is fine. Still, graphics card and processor are the most important components, in that order, for determining how well Sims 4 will run on a computer, provided there's enough memory and storage.
Of the three, the second one is better than the other two because an Nvidia 1050 ti is a bit faster than a 1050 not ti. The i5-9300H is a bit stronger than the 8300H, but both processors are more than fine for Sims 4, even on ultra settings.
The 1050 ti will run the game, all packs included, on ultra now, but that may not be true in the future, depending on how demanding future expansions turn out to be. If you could find a model with an Nvidia 1650, that would be a worthwhile investment. The next card up, a 1060, is not being made anymore and is difficult to find in a laptop; models with a 1660 ti are around 30% more expensive, depending on inventory and sales.
If you'd like to see other options, just list your budget and country, as well as any other features that matter to you. Otherwise, the second laptop you listed will be fine.
