If the JVC have drivers installed you may need to try reinstalling them, If the issues continue I would recommend checking for any updates to windows or additional hardware drivers and seeing if this continues. You can check if the JVS have drivers to try reinstalling with the steps below.
1. Select the Windows key + S
2. Search for device manager
3. Under 'sound, video, game controllers' and select the drop-down arrow
4. See if your device is listed here.
I’m not using any headphones and have the same problem but it’s just one of my sims, not all.

Hi @Jewelay12,
Could you open a new thread for this please. The OP here mention theur issue started after an update two years ago. There's been a few since then so it's unlikely caused by the same thing.
In your post, share some more information like when this started happening for you, when you last updated the game, and what troubleshooting you've tried so far.
I'll close this in the meantime.
