@Tamsen_Farris   I had to use the fire extinguisher twice on one of the yellow-orange piles, and I have read reports saying it takes as many as three to get rid of them. Have you tried to extinguish them several times? I also suggest you exit the game and delete the localthumbcache.package in The Sims 4 folder. Let me now if it doesn't work.

    Thank you so much! I deleted the folder that you suggested and then opened the game to see that I could now get rid of it by extinguishing it twice. Thank again for your help!
