Re: Sims 4 fps capped at 20-22fps

@Kayvia96

1. Check your Windows 10 updates
https://support.microsoft.com/help/4027667/windows-10-update
and get at least KB4505903 which fixes the frame rate problems in some games
2. Disconnect the internet completely (remove the plug, turn off the modem) when in-game and try without it.
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Incredibly-Low-FPS-when-connected-to-Internet/m-p/7605094#
3. Clean your computer from dusk - an overheated computer can cause this
4. If you have it turn off Rivatuner Statistics Server and MSI Afterburner.

If it will not work could you post your Computer's DxDiag? Maybe you need new drivers for your hardware.
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/

    Ok, thanks for the reply, starting Origin and the Game without internet connection worked, got over 100fps then. The problem is as soon as i start it online again, my fps drops back to 20. Is there a solution/fix for that? I like to use the online gallery sometimes...

    EA still tries to found what is causing it. It's weird but changing the internet provider for players who did it has fixed it. This message is from another foreign forum and confirmed only by two players. Maybe only these two decided to do it.
