@monkiepunkie260  Discord can conflict with other overlays, including Origin in-game.  So try disabling that: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

If that doesn't help, try disabling all other programs you usually have running while you play.  It's possible something else is conflicting instead.

And of course you could just use Discord in a browser window rather than the app.  It shouldn't conflict with anything.
