Re: Sims 4 crashing in CAS
@Kayla_0726 Part (or maybe all) of the problem could be lack of free space on the storage device. The page file or more commonly called swap file or virtual memory is space on the storage device. Your page file is about 6 + 13 Gb = 19Gb. subtract that from the 45Gb free space on your storage device and that leaves about 26 Gb space on the storage device for temp files. While the page file gives and takes depending on what is going on, this amount is finite. Once you run out of page file the next thing that will happen will probably not be good. The size of the page file can be 1.5 times to 4 times the amount of memory your computer has at the time the operating system is installed. That's 1.5 X 16gb = 24Gb and yours is 6Gb + 13Gb = 19Gb. You have 45Gb free space on your primary (boot) device. So you have about 26Gb of free space on your storage device (give or take). The operating system (Windows) can adjust this as necessary but this is a finite resource.. A good rule is to leave at least 20% free on your primary storage device (I didn't just make that up). IMO you need to free up space on your primary storage device.
