Initially the Digital Deluxe content did not appear in game, however, after allowing the latest game expansion to download and install, I can confirm the content does appear again.  

Perhaps the fact that I had pre-order bonus content played a role in resetting some property, but I really do not know.

Although the game sill lists as "standard edition" in the EA app library, the essential problem seems to have resolved.
