Solved

I just switched to the EA app and my addons are NOT in the game.

I just loaded my game and it says in the interface that my adds ons are installed. HOWEVER when I go to play the game, I only have Willow Creek and Copperdale. HOW do I get my other add-ons to show up. I have spend mucho dollars on this game and I want to play. Did I switch from Origin too soon? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

  • This is how I fixed mine. I am sharing some steps below, please follow the steps mentioned and then once you have done it check if you are still facing the issue or not.

    1. Go to Documents > Electronic Arts
    2. You'll see a folder here called The Sims 4
    3. Right click and rename this folder to The Sims 4 Old
    4. Once done. Launch the game. Reach the main menu and exit the game.
    5. Now go back to Documents > Electronic Arts
    6. You'll see 2 folders here. The Sims 4 Old and a newly created The Sims 4 folder.
    7. Go to the Old folder. Copy 2 folders here: Saves & Tray.
    8. Paste and replace them in The Sims 4 folder (Newly created one)
    9. Once done. Launch the game. Game should work properly with their progress.

@cconway10310  You tried repairing, or going back to Origin, or both?  If you're still using the EA App, does it show as offline?  You can check by opening the dropdown menu in the upper-left corner: if it says "go online," you're offline.  The EA App often doesn't recognize installed packs while in offline mode.

I was having issues with my add-ons where it wouldn't install. I tried moving folders, reinstalling the EA app, clearing the cache, the whole nine yards. HOWEVER, I can confirm this reply fixed my issue! So to those that have this issue as well, it works 100%. Follow their steps listed to a T and it works. It finally installed all of my add-ons I still needed downloaded, and the game still works wonderfully. Thanks for the steps and making it so easy, absolutely appreciate you!
