When I switch between families in all of my game saves the relationship they had with other sims is gone. For example my sim in Glimmerbrook had a friend and when I switched the family to the one in Forgotten Hollow played a little and switched again to the one in Glimmerbrook my sim had no friends and didn't even know the person she was friends with.
@777Lacie777 When you switch households, are you going to Manage Worlds, clicking on a different household, and playing that one? Or are you returning to the Main Menu, clicking Load Game, and choosing a different household there?
The Load Game function lets you switch between saves, not between different households in the same save. Each save progresses independently from all the others, so a friendship your sim makes in one save wouldn't exist in any other.
Yes when I want to switch between households I'm going to Manage Worlds and then click on a different household. No loading game.
@777Lacie777 Relationships will decline over time and can even get culled at some point, but that shouldn't happen right away, only after you haven't played that household for a while. Is there any other progress missing from the household where the sim lost a friendship? For example, does the sim still have all the skills (and the proper levels in those skills) that they had before you switched? Did you build or buy something new from the house that's now missing?
