@bbgorl_  A straight restart is most often a sign of bad power delivery, whether a problem with the power supply itself or the electricity being delivered to it.  What PSU do you have?  You can see the specs on the side of the unit itself; please list manufacturer, wattage, and rating, e.g. Corsair 750W 80+ Gold.

Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post, for reference.

If you want to do some testing yourself, try plugging your computer into a different outlet in your home, preferably with a surge protector rather than directly into the outlet.
