@GiardiniDiMarzo The EA App should automatically detect Sims 4 as installed and continue to use the location you've chosen. You can also confirm that the App sees the correct location, or change it if you want to, by clicking Manage > View properties. The install location will be listed above the box for advanced launch options.
The day has come, I am forced to install the EA app. Origin won't even let me access The Sims 4 by clicking on the game icon on the desktop. I get this image, and the only thing I can do is click on the X in the upper right corner to close the program or install the app. I find that it is not very fair to force players in this way, I would have preferred a set date for everyone to make the switch.
@GiardiniDiMarzo I'm sorry to hear that. It's going to happen for everyone, but some of us are still, luckily, unaffected.
Yes, it has for me this week and I have not been able to play all week since EA APP always says "can't launch game something on our end went wrong but no matter what I do or try I can't play Sims 4 anymore and I'm pissed, I have over $700 in this game and can't play it.

It's been about a week now have you had any luck, I believe my latest attempt to update Origin is what gave me the window similar to yours forcing me to update to EA App which I have tried 3 times always failing.
I wonder if there is a way to rollback to the last update?
@norvell5176 There's no way to roll back, at least not without Origin immediately patching itself and putting you back in the same position as you are now.
