@EdwardDLuffy Apologies if this has already mentioned, on a quick break so I don't have time to fully read through the thread.
What is the temperature like on xbox when playing apex,(or any game in general I guess) Is it particularly hot?
If so that could be creating strain on the console and it would be worthwhile to give it a thorough clean out, it's amazing how much crap can build up inside them over time, and said crap basically acts as insulator which can cause hardware damage over time.
I don't play Arenas often because I don't enjoy it but the issues aren't as noticeable. Apex feels like day 1 PUBG on Xbox at times if anybody remembers what that was like. I'm sure buying the next Xbox or a ssd would solve some of the problems but I shouldn't have to do that to enjoy a 2 year old game properly.

To be fair, these issues are plastered all over Reddit, and although it's been a while since I've been on here, I have the same issues.
This is nothing new for me, been happening pre-season 10. Text to chat has always made my game freeze. I have also installed Apex on my external hard drive to no avail. The stuttering on Xbox One is a known issue, and apparently doesn't happen on the newer Xbox console.
What I'd appreciate, is an acknowledgement from either Respawn or EA that the older consoles aren't sufficient to run Apex before I dish out the money to buy a new one.
Here’s one clip I’ve uploaded recently, close quarter fighting is an automatic death due to stutters. It’s inevitable, happens every time, and definitely not due to a hard drive issue.
- @Gabrielmojo26 Yeah, that video is what I see quite often. In my early Apex days (end of S4) there were no problems. It's really been since S8 and has become more noticable this season.
It's random too. After a couple of largely issue-free days, yesterday was quite bad. At one point I was close to my 20-bomb, but the stutters meant I missed 19 potential kills :P
