Re: Rampart Changes Summary and Feedback

@CompleatBeet It's just nice to see defensive legends finally getting some love in this game. Hope to use more of Rampart this season! Played Crypto yesterday for a daily challenge and surprisingly won that game. Some legends definitely need the Rampart treatment as well.

I like Rampart, but I often find team mates don't appreciate strategically placed walls or a nice Sheila fortress.  Interesting that their solution to make a defensive character more popular is to make her more offensive.  I am now awaiting them showing that same level of thought to my boy Caustic. This is unlikely though as they already sold his heirloom a while back.

@Piabetic At one time caustic was very effective on offense.....back when barrels did not rotate and could be thrown from a good distance through slatted windows. I still use him as a pusher but it isnt the same.
  • @hayhor Exactly . . he had that one sweet window where he was great fun . . running up on a squad, throwing a few barrels in their faces and getting stuck in. Didn't last long. As soon as they allowed people to destroy the barrels whilst being deployed it just neutered him beyond repair in my opinion.

@Cheese9Man That seems to be not uncommon occurrence. So many times I've seen someone who didn't pick Crypto go on to have a ridiculously good match. Heck, Ragg has a 4K on him!

@pandareno1999 Ragg really isnt as bad as he claims to be any more. I have watched him for a while, back when he really was "gutter tier" as he likes to put it. He smashes it up quite often these days and I do appreciate how he deals with "toxic" team mates.
  • @hayhor He explained it in a video once, something to do with his life experiences and some kind of Zen stuff . . . in reality, I think his passive approach just winds them up more which means more fun for us really.

@Piabetic I've seen him explain. He has or had some major health issues so he looks at gaming as a blessing.
