WHY DO YOU NO LONGER OFFER BATTLEFIELD 1942?

Hello.

I am Jacob R. Burke - aka Mask Lord.

As gamers of variety and true appreciators of art we are forced by our own intentions to look for the best.  In this never ending search for quality we are led in every direction we can go.  Seeing as there is no 'history of the future' we must learn from the past.  This is because we are not searching for the best of our time, but the best of all time.  Yes, I know the perfect game is unattainable threw the eyes of the builder because our imagination has no limits.  But threw the eyes of the gamer we seek out the best traits of every title and compile them into our "What the best game would be like" idea.  That is why more games are made.  Because we keep striving for perfection and will continue to do so till the end of time.

"...ONE OF THE MOST PIVOTAL MULTIPLAYER GAMES" -EA, referring to battlefield 1942

At [http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield-1942], an official "up to date" EA website, there is a "Download" link which (when clicked) opens a new tap to the Battlefield 1942 page on Origin.  ...so far, so good.  right?  Yes.  Now comes the tricky part.  Once on this page, where one might expect the "Download" Button to be, is another button labeled "official site" which when 'click' takes you back to the previous battlefield site.  Confused?  I was.

                                    Back to the cause

Literally caught in a virtual loop I was feeling EA might have forgotten the glory of"...THE FIRST GAME IN THE BATTLEFIELD SERIES." -EA, referring to battlefield 1942.  But accounting the celebrated give away in 2012 I knew that couldn't be the case.  I, and others like me, have been searching since for a way to digitally purchase this 13 year old master piece via Origin, Steam or any other online app store with no such luck.

              Thank you for reading 🙂

So, knowing EA/DICE can make a financial profit form this, the gist of the question is...   Will you please proceed to offer Battlefield 1942 on Origin?
