so they no longer give download links on origin but the community fix the master server so you can still play it online see

you can get a full working free version of bf1942 on here

and its safe i got this version of bf running on 3 computers all have anti virus anti spyware and anti mailware

you may want to download fhsw for bf1942 as well it take bf1942 to the next level

I have come to the conclusion that updating the version from Origin will not update to the current 1.6.19

Think its a better idea to go on ebay or amazon and purchase a copy on disc. that way you can update and play the game.

The update from the links here do not work on the version from Origin which is a shame. EA are losing out on revenue even if the majority don't play the game but then again if people don't know the game even exists let alone the company showing lack of support for the product that made the franchise.

if you have a Origin version of the game you can patch it up so it work on online again
