Re: Battlefield 4 Age Restrictions

Battlefield 4 is rated M for mature and is not recommended for children. You will not be able to play it on an age restricted account, please keep in mind that we are not able to handle any kind of age restriction on Microsoft Live accounts.

Cheers

WHat I do in my own home is my constitutional right.  EA and Microsoft does not have any rights as what I do with their products once I buy it.  I thought we lived in America.

Well it depends. If you created their EA/Origin account with an age limit over 18, they're good. I don't believe your Microsoft account age matters as the account I play on isn't over the age of 18. I hope I cleared it up.

BTW: EA staff has no clue what they are doing..

Boy you got that right! Battlefield franchise has gone downhill since Battlefield 1942.  The damn box says must be 13+ for Origin account (which implies to me online play). Extremely frustrating that the game isn't more flexible to allow a parent to exercise an override when they believe they can exercise due diligence and supervision.  No wonder the CoD franchise seems to be a more dominating precense.

EA games will not get any revenue from me or my family.  I should be the one who grants access to what content my child has access to not a gaming company.
