Re: PS4 Pro purple flickering

I have the PS4 out in the open and no it doesn't get overly hot. It happens as soon as I start up the game no matter if my console is cold or hot and this is the only game that does anything like this.

Reseat both ends of your video cable.

Are you using HDR on your console or TV?

What version of HDMI is you video cable?

Can you test on another TV?

I reset both ends of my hdmi cable but it still does the same thing. I’m using a 4K cable and TV but even if I turn off HDR and change my resolution to 1080p it still doesn’t work. It does the same thing on my other TV

Hmm, that is odd. There is also the possibility your cable is damaged, can you test with a different video cable?

• Do you have automatic system software and game updates enabled
• Is your TV in 'Game Mode'
• I assume you have fully powered off the console and restarted it?
• Can you post the settings you have for these options please? ->

Yes I have automatic updates enabled. 

It does the same thing if Game Mode on my TV is turned on or off.

ive gone through every EA and Sony troubleshooting step and that was one of them. It still didn’t work.

all those setting are on automatic but even if I change my resolution to 1080p and turn off HDR it does the same thing. Below is another video I captured where you can clearly see that the game glitches depending on where I go on the map which leads me to believe this is a bug in the game. Every other Battlefield game I’ve had works perfectly except for this one. I’ve been trying to play this game since launch with no luck.
