Re: Game Keeps Crashing don't know what to do HELP!

Ya our cards are just fine but that game is broken when it comes to DX12 and RTX features and its a d*mn shame! I play at half a dozen of games and every one of them works just fine. Even a beta game named Hell let Loose working like a charm despite in closed beta state. You can imagine full of bugs and lots of optimization issues. But in the end game works.

Story begins when you enable DXR and DLSS! It begins with stutters and ends with an inevitable crash! For two weeks i tried everything and anything to overcome the issue including motherboard bios update, full device driver update, origin fixes, verify game files and even clean reinstall... You name it!

DICE/EA please stand behind your product and fix that. Its been months for god's sake.

    • Similar problem here on i9-9900K and RTX2080 - for me DX12 is unplayable at all ( it's just a matter of time when it crash to desktop or BSOD) / only DX11 works perfectly fine and silky  smooth 🙂

Don't know yet it's  9900K or RTX2080 fault... ( Stock settings non OC at all)

P.S. For example Metro Exodus works just fine in DX12 with all the fancy features on or off ...

    Solved:

    Driver: 430.86

BF5 would crash on startup for me after enabling DX12, I ended up narrowing the issue down to ansel initializing during startup, and fixed the issue by disabling NVidia Ansel. To disable ansel goto C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel\Tools and start the NvCameraConfiguration program, then near the bottom select disabled and save.

Can anyone else confirm positive results after doing this?
