Re: High Ping from India/ Bad customer care experience

Hey @SiFeR85

Thank you for all the information you have provided.

When you contacted Support, did they ask you to try these steps?

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/connection-troubleshooting-advanced-pc/

You can also try opening the Ports for Battlefield V as well:

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/

https://portforward.com/battlefield-v/

If you'd like to try to refund the game, which is up to you, you can try to do so here: https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/great-game-guarantee

Let us know if you're still experiencing issues after trying those steps though.

Thanks 🙂

Yeah I tried all the steps included. I do not understand how one day its smooth connections and after that just un playable on singapore servers. It does not make any sense.

  • Hey @SiFeR85

Are you still experiencing issues today after the Update?

I believe they should have fixed some Stability/Performance issues in this Patch.

    Let us know.

    Thanks 🙂

So after the patch... pings to SG servers have dropped from 300 to 150... still slightly higher than EU currently and still higher than the pings I got a few days back to SG (70 ish).

    EU servers

    Asia server

I guess ill be playing in Germany for the time being... still miss the 70 ping.

And regarding the refund... link says I cant because more than 24 hours have passed.
