I hope they maintain the trend of the last two Battlefront games and include true offline play with bots.

It would be of great value even for players with very good connections as it would ensure that on launch day nobody is entirely locked out of the game because of the servers being overwhelmed.

I'd take being able to play versus bots offline any day versus not being able to start the game at all as was the case with the Modern Warfare 2019 or Outriders where the game wasn't playable at all for more than week after it launched.

Look at VG/27 article about 2042. For the first time in a long time the OG Bot Mode will be coming back. As a kinda sub in for them not having a single player campaign. Plus you can play with friends against AI. And you will still progress your character and weapons while playing this mode too. And supposedly it will be all the maps you can play in multiplayer as well. SO EXCITED definitely a buy for me now. Was really scared when they said just multiplayer because I only play it sometimes and really only played it a lot on BF1 and Battlefront 2.

Just to be clear, we will be able to roll solo and or with friends only, with AI enemies as well as AI allies? No being forced to roll the big multi-player maps with anyone and everyone?

If so, that.....will...be friggin fantastic!! 🤘🤘

    @SOCOMDEATHDEALRYes that is correct.
You can play solo against 127 bots or with your mates against the bots

Thanks for confirming bro. Hopefully there will be various adjustments we can make such as difficultly etc 🍻

So basically it was confirmed that the game will be "ALWAYS ONLINE" with no option whatsoever for playing OFFLINE versus bots.

This is it, my interest dropped to zero, good luck EA [CM - Removed].

This is a complete deal breaker for me as I'm so [CM - Removed] tired of live service, "always online" games that I'm instantly locked out of every God damn time there's an issue with the servers or my connection.

Oh well, enjoy you launch day, I'm sure it will be flawless with no overcrowded servers as all "live service" launches have been in the past couple of years. LOL.

After praising your overlords for giving you an "opportunity" to play their "live service" game, of course.

Yeah it's really hard to understand why someone would defend EA even if you don't care about the issue. You gain nothing, only lose by defending their anti-consumer decisions.

Yes, crying about not having an offline option, because someone is worried they won't have enough money on their foodstamp card to buy another game (in approximately 2-4 years), is pretty funny 😎

I'll get my $100+ worth from the game....... long before the servers are shut down.

@SOCOMDEATHDEALR Blah blah blah. I know what you mean about me. But I can disappoint you =) I work for an IT company and I get 15,000$ a month there ( 3,750$-4,000$ a week). I'm just upset that you can't play offline. Since at work we have our own local network. And I will not be able to enter someone else's network = (since everything is classified. Therefore, I need offline mode, everyone needs it. I have Battlefield 1942, Vietnam, 2.2142 from Origin installed on my 5TB flash drive. And in my free time I play with bots and Everyone is having fun playing with bots.

These days, I am enjoying FPS solo and coop play much more than multiplayer, because I don't like the way game studios are using algorithms to screw around with gameplay, random gun nerfing, purposely matching certain weapons to other weapons, SBMM, etc. For example, the latest CoD is a very different game now from when it was first released. You can feel how the game is being manipulated, to keep people playing and thinking they can just tweek some setting or other, here and there, or keep trying different guns, and get their K/D ratio back up. I want to play a game where my skill determines whether or not I win--not some algorithm giving me an edge in one match, and then screwing me in another. I hope that offline bot play will allow you to level up, also. That would be the icing on the cake--and I would gladly put my money down for each new BF version, if it included that.

It's about preserving the game for the future and actually being able to play it now and the in the future the way you like, when you like, for however long you like.

Welcome to life. Sometimes we don't get everything we want.

Buy the game, roll it, have fun.....then rinse and repeat for the ones released afterwards.

Hey, my bad, I didn't know you have logged several hours on a game (that isn't due to release for another 3 months)......and have "blindly" come to the conclusion that it's "garbage".

    You're very special..

    Hey all,

Friendly reminder to follow the laws of the land when posting, you don't have to agree on everything but you can't attack people either.

    Thanks.

  • @EA_Cade I hope you EA Folks are reading these comments supporting offline modes (bots) and leveling, and considering making them reality. 🙂
