Re: i have buy bf1 in ea play app, but i want it in steam account. what should i do?

@turaldtx

Hey there and welcome to the forums 🙌

My personal advice is to always go with the native client required, in this case EA App former Origin.

There are multiple reasons why I'm suggesting this. Every time people purchase BF titles on steam especially, forums get flooded with  posts where people mention certain issues regarding account linking etc.

Battlefield is owned by EA and they run their own servers, so owning any  BF game on steam is just a place holder. Imagine you purchase BF through steam right now and after the download has finished you try launching it and the steam servers go down (it has happened to me before with steam native titles). If you would have gotten it directly on EA App you would have been able to play straight away.

Even if you purchase it through steam you still need to link the accounts and install the EA App, so IMO there is no point in running two clients just to play one game.

Another downside is that if you got your accounts linked, in the event one of your accounts gets compromised the rest might follow.

Then there is the performance aspect, running multiple programs can slow down your PC and offer a bad performance.

I could go on with this but I guess you catch my drift 😉.

Get in on EA App and enjoy, no point in wasting precious time troubleshooting stuff 👍, hope this helps
