This thread exists because we are afraid of, that there will not be a scoreboard. And there was not such a thing in the Beta. 
So exactly because no one has seen this, it is till now a MISSING feature! 

@Trokey66 It is not that simple. Because when we don't say it now and to relase it would still be missing, thant it is TOO LATE!
And many will not play this game without a scoreboard. So we have to know this before the release. Pls stop such troll-postings!

This was a open beta and no alpha. You don't get this whole stuff at all. 
It doesn't make sense to talk any longer with you, because you can't understand the whole problem here now...

You have way too much faith in a multi-million dollar corporation that has one goal and one goal only: profits.

The beta was very close to the release build and not many changes have been made into it. The scoreboard is such an obvious feature, it should have been there in the alpha-alpha-alpha build. The fact that it was still lacking less than a month ago means there has at least been ideas of not having it in the game.

Fact is, every BF beta before, had a normal, basic scoring board. Scoring boards exists since...i dunno, pong? And this the 2042 beta did not have one, the question becomes relevant because without it, how do you know your performance within the game of 127 people? You won ok. How many kills compared to the other side etc.

All it would take is for one of the Dice people here to confirm it. Wham bam, we dont need to discuss it anymore. They are not doing it. So we are talking about it.

yeah I wouldn't cry about this.  Probably just one of the many missing features in the beta.  

But if not no big loss.  Wasn't integral to the game.    Seems like it mainly turned people into point hounds for the sake of points.  Never rewarded the true team player very well. 

With 128 players and th above there is a chance they moved on from the traditional scoreboard I suppose.

Judging by this thread it has been an integral part of the game, of any game, to a big part of players. Implementing it certainly doesn't take relatively any effort, so why not have it? Many players like to see how they are doing compared to their and the enemy team, so it's perfectly fine to "cry" about it.

Maybe they want to shelter people who feel bad they aren't doing well? Those people can just avoid looking at the scoreboard. And how does it reward "the true team player" any better, if there's no scoreboard, it doesn't change the fact how points are given.

well if there is no scoreboard then motivation to get points for points sake is less.  Which only helps free up players to do team tasks that wouldn't get as many points.  Also can result in less toxicity and less whining about players doing too well.  

But as I said it probably is just a missing feature as the beta was full of missing features.  

I don't think it affects the gameplay/teamplay one bit so it isn't integral to the game.

If you don't see your score than playing the objective or a support is completely useless. Than all just play sniper and try to get a high K/D.
The Score was always a CORE-Gameplayfunction of the game. I can't believe that you are rly thinking like this...

The whole point of board is after the game, i want to see how i performed when compared to the opposite team. A scoreboard is like the basic fundamental aspect of most games going back all the way to pong.

Since the last 4 BF betas (which i played all of them) had a proper scoreboard in them, one can assume that the new version Dice put in is here to stay. Hence the "outrage".

Also, yeah our assumptions come from the beta. And why not? Did u see my previews reply? All it takes is for dice to say "dont sweat it, its in" and no one will ever yap about it again. Im not sure why this is so hard to grasp for you, unless you're just trolling?

a one size fits all scoreboard is not a  great measurement system for BF because of all the different roles you can play.  the scoreboard  only shows k/d and points.  But it won't tell you if you led in revives or resupplies or flag caps or vehicle damage or spotting etc.  And some roles will get more kills like pilots and tankers compared to infantry.   So the scoreboard is a pretty limited measurement system for a large team objective based game.  

They can show that without a scoreboard.  

And actually in BF1, that's what they did.    One of the end of the round screens told me what place I was in kills or revives etc (up to top 5 or something like that) as well as how your squad ranked in a few categories.  

so looking back, the process to evolve away from the traditional scoreboard started at least as far back as BF1.

BF V scoreboard. You can exactly tell how you performed overall in a match. 

2042 does't even show your name and your opponents name. There was a hidding scoreboard in the beta but it did not display any kill/ deaths or score overall. 

You are literally the only person here who screams "its fine, stop complaining about it". I still dont see what your argument is. (sorry about the format - not sure whats going on)

I don't think you read my post past the first 13 words of the first sentence.  Because you didn't address any pt I made.

@Trokey66 When you think like this, than why is there overall a BETA?
Than no game needs a beta or a trailer or what else. Why don't we just buy all the games blind and only whine afterwards, when we can't get our money back!
Hell maybe we shouldn't even know the name or the category of the games. All games should just have number-codes, wich no one knows and than should pay for somehing, wich could be the biggest crap on earth.

There was a Beta to see what the game already has and what is still missing --> than there is feedback from the costumers, what needs to be fixxed --> then there is a answer from the devs from things they will change or are alreday changed --------- This happend already! - but the scoreboard was not adressed by the devs, so we need to worry. And than you came here and are just trolling it seems!

@trip1ex Well, the game can have BOTH! The normal scoreboard what we want and the other stuff at the end, what you want. It's not a "either or" stuff...

People are saying, that specialists and this Game will focus on teamplay, yet the Main focus of the scoreboard, if you can even call that Trash scoreboard, are Kills. There is Really nothing useful see. You can't even See, if you are doing good.

Everything in this Game is not built around teamplay, because it is built around Hazard Zone, which is 4 vs. the rest or "everyone for themselves".
