@SandroidusYes. Confirmed in-game weather conditions are rain, sandstorms, and even a tornado. Not to mention a night map, although it will be a very illuminated night map…

I would also like to know if any “true” night maps are coming that could facilitate NVGs…thanks, saved me money.
In fact I don't really understand the politics of DICE company with forcing all players to play as an assault...
All other types (pilots, snipers, may be even tanks... all long-ranged weapons) are totally unplayable when
some of the weather conditions are taking place.
Happens to see only negative comments from players, when sandstorm comes.
It really looks like product management does a really bad job.
- @Sandroidus I certainly don’t play Assault only, matter of fact I think in BF4 I play almost Engineer exclusively. BFV I play dependent on where I would do the most support in advancing accomplishing whatever given objective is set before us in the given map or mode.
- @Sandroidus So far, there has only been closed, internal testing of the game with those weather effects enabled. I suspect they will introduce it more publicly during the upcoming Beta testing.

Just because something is technically possible to add to the game, does not make it a great idea to absolutely do so...
