Update - Finally took the time to read the game cover. It states internet and PlayStation Plus required. Seems my PlayStation Plus subscription had expired. I renewed and now I have the correct privileges to play online.  if you don't have PlayStation Plus you may never be able to access the game. I hope this helps? Now on to the Battlefield!
