Summarize your bug When I launch BF2042 from Origin, the game does not recognize my PS4 controller. All controller settings show an xbox controller. It completely ignores all input from the controller with the exception of the Left stick & L2 (which is somehow mapped to B on xbox controller?). It is impossible to re-map the buttons & sticks through the BF menu. It is as if the game does not recognize the controller. Additional detail: I have no problems playing on this controller on any other EA game launched on origin.

What happens when the bug occurs? See summary above for details. There is an article (link https://gamingintel.com/how-to-fix-ps4-ps5-controller-not-working-on-battlefield-2042-pc/ ) that describes a fix for players launching on Steam, but those options do not appear to be available for those on Origin (and adding the game on Steam as a non-steam game does not allow for the fix either). To this point, i have tried every manner plugging & unplugging, launching with or without controller or MNK inputs. No progress.
What should be happening instead? It should recognize the controller like every other origin game (sorry that sounded sarcastic but i didn't know what else to put haha)
